1 Setting a skin

By nickname

You need a nickname with a Minecraft license — the server downloads the skin (and cape, if any) from Mojang. You can find nicknames with a skin and cape online — for example, on NameMC — and set them with the command below. To have your own skin on your nickname across all servers — buy the game license.

By URL

Upload your skin and pick a cape at skinsrestorer.net/upload, copy the link, and set it with the command below. Or use a direct image link from another host. The URL must be in quotes.

Other similar servers work the same way: with a license, set a skin by your nickname with /skin your_nick.

2 /skin commands

• /skin history — history of installed skins
• /skin undo — undo the last installed skin
• /skin edit — edit your skin (a link will appear in chat)
• /skin random — set a random skin
• /skin favourite — add a skin to favorites
• /skin favourites — list of favorite skins
• /skin clear — clear your skin

3 Skins don't look right

If you play through TLauncher, KLauncher, Legacy Launcher, or with Ely.by enabled — the launcher shows its own skins instead of server skins. Because of this, skins may seem broken for you and for others. This is not an UltraMc bug.

What you may see in-game:

• You set a skin with a command, but you still see a different one — from your launcher or Ely.by.
• You cannot see other players' server skins.
• Others cannot see your server skin.

How to see server skins (yours and others)

• In launcher settings, disable the skin system and rejoin the game.

How to be visible through your launcher

• TLauncher — tlauncher.org, KLauncher — klauncher.gg, Ely.by — ely.by.
• Log in with the same nickname as on the server.
• Upload a skin in your account.
